if you want to keep it as original as possible, acquire a picture of the seat in it's original form and it sounds like you can (assuming you still have the original seat pan). Take said photo to an upholstery shop let them know what you want and get a quote, it always pays to shop.

I need spare motercycle parts, where to look?
i have a yellow gilera DNA and i need to replace the seat on it ive tried ebay and nothing is availible ever. On the Gilera site its way to expensive so thats a no. So i dont know where to look.
